Membership at Redemption is participation in a family, a community, a body.

Because of this, we call our covenanted people “members” to emphasize the fact that we expect them to be far more than spectators. Redemption Bible Church holds its members in high regard.

We expect them to joyfully be in the process of understanding and living in light of the truth of the gospel, that they might be centered on Jesus in every part of life.

We expect them to learn how to Worship as a Community on Mission.

We expect them to intentionally live out the mission of the gospel as missionaries to the world around them, in hope that they might draw attention and bring glory to our risen Rescuer and Redeemer.

The best way to learn about both Redemption and what it means to be a covenant member is through our Intro to Redemption class. The Intro to Redemption Class includes 4-parts in which we cover the following:

  • Our Story
  • Our Theology
  • Our Strategy
  • Our Membership

Upon completion of the Intro to Redemption Class, all participants interested in membership complete an application process and are scheduled for a membership interview with one of our elders.

Now anytime we say “membership interview” it tends to freak people out a bit.  The goal of the membership interview is to get know potential members a little better and to answer any questions they may have about who we are, what we believe, or where we are headed as a church.  Typically the interview takes places while sitting in a comfortable chair over a cup of coffee.

If you are new to Redemption, or interested in covenant membership, we offer the class several times per year.  The next Intro to Redemption Class will be offered on Saturday June 9 from 8am-12pm. To sign-up to attend,
