At Redemption, we ask each person who calls this place home to get on mission and be involved in serving in some way. That’s why we call them Missional Teams—because everyone who serves at Redemption is on mission. Each week we have people attend Redemption who don’t know Jesus and, therefore, we put a great deal of time, effort and focus on ensuring that we create a distraction free environment, which allows people to zero in on hearing the Gospel message that will be preached each week.
Click on each of the opportunities below to learn a little bit about each team. Once you’ve decided where you would like to get involved, send an email to serving@redemptionbiblechurch.org and we will get you plugged in. We need everyone to get involved so that as a family we can carry the mission forward.
Missional Team
Each week, we partner with the parents of Redemption to hand the gospel to the next generation by providing ministry for kids ages 6 weeks through 7 years. We do this by:
- Ensuring parents know their kids are being well cared for so they can focus on being a part of the weekly gathering
- Keeping the kids ministry welcoming, safe & healthy
- Serving one time per month to fill a variety of roles including taking care of babies, teaching kids ages 2-4, teaching kids ages 5-7 & assisting the teachers
- Paging a parent when diapers need changing or other issues that may arrive with each kid
As the only missional team that is not a part of the weekly gathering, you deeply bless the parents of Redemption. We want to ensure that this is a safe, clean, & loving environment for our kids at all times. Missional Team
Joining Guest Services means being the welcoming face of Redemption Bible Church to each guest that comes on a Sunday morning. We do this by:
- Opening the door for everyone
- Making the first impression the moment new guests enter the church
- Directing people to the coffee, the bathrooms & the children’s rooms
- Helping people get connected to the next steps at Redemption
By the time church starts, people know they like our church because we make them feel welcome.
Missional Team
We exist to support the staff and worship team in preparing the church for our Sunday services. We are a group of people willing to do whatever it takes to ensure our elders, worship team, and leaders can focus on people and not tasks. We do this by:
- Collecting the offering & guest info cards
- Handing out weeklies as guests enter the sanctuary
- Monitoring levels of coffee & refilling pots
- Maintaining the safety & security of the church
No special skills are needed, and we will train you to develop a critical eye towards making our church a welcoming place.
Missional Team
We make the music that allows Redemption to rock out on Sunday mornings. We do this by:
- Leading worship through singing & playing music
- Meeting weekly to rehearse to ensure a smooth Sunday morning
- Sharing our God-given musical talents to encourage worship of our Father

Missional Team
We seek to create the environment each week that helps people lift their eyes off of themselves and fix their eyes on Jesus. We do this by:
- Adjusting equalization, levels & reverb on the soundboard
- Creating the visual & aural atmosphere on Sunday morning
- Monitoring connections, equipment & recording
- Ensuring smooth transitions throughout the duration of the service
We work hard to eliminate distractions so that nothing would pull people’s attention from what God would say to them.
Missional Team
The Communication Team helps spread the gospel through creative means. We harness the power of technology, the visual arts, and language to tell the world about Jesus. We do this by:
- Designing our website, signage, and sermon ID’s
- Managing content of communication media
- Connecting to people through social media
Missional Team
Joining our Administration Team means supporting the staff and missional teams at Redemption by doing whatever it takes. We do this by:
- Tracking inventory so we don’t run out of supplies—especially coffee
- Folding and perforating weeklies
- Cleaning and organizing the office
The Adminstration Missional Team provides the support and organization that helps Redemption run smoothly.
Missional Team
We pray because Jesus commanded His disciples to pray, inviting us into a deeper relationship with our Heavenly Father. Being a part of the Prayer Missional Team means helping create a culture of prayer at Redemption. We do this by:
- Growing in our own personal worship of Jesus
- Bathing Sunday morning worship services in prayer
- Helping the Redemption community grow in prayer
- Praying for and incorporating prayer into missional activities
