What is Above & Beyond?

Above & Beyond is our annual year-end giving campaign where we celebrate God's generosity towards us by giving above and beyond our normal offering. We want to invite you to prayerfully consider how God may be calling you to partner with Redemption and contribute to Above & Beyond this year as we support our church, our community, and other churches. 

Our Church

You have all seen the buckets around the building collecting water after it rains, so this year we are setting out to drain the buckets by taking on our most significant home improvement project since moving in to our new home that God blessed us with just over six years ago. We are partnering with Peterson Roofing to replace our leaky not so little roof this spring, a project that is going to cost us $300,000.

Knowing this project was coming, we’ve been saving along the way, and currently have $150,000 set aside, enough to cover half of the project. Now we need to raise the other half.

We are praying that God would provide the financial resources we need through your continued generosity. It would be great if we could raise half of the funds this year and the other half in next year’s Above & Beyond. But what would be even better - a real God moment much like what happened with our parking lot project last year - would be if He decided to bless us with the entire $150,000 this year! Why not ask God for that? Why not pray for that?

We are not just praying that God would provide, but also how God will provide. We are praying that each and every one of us who call Redemption our church home - meaning this is the place where you worship and we are the people who you worship with - would participate in this year’s Above & Beyond.

This is too big of a project for us to take on without everyone participating - praying and taking a step of generosity. We’re asking you to begin praying about what step you feel God calling you to take as we end the year in giving Above & Beyond!

Our Community

We’re not only supporting our church through Above & Beyond, but also our community. The Pantry has continued to grow since we launched it in March of 2022, providing resources to families in need who live here in our community. As a result, we need to expand our space in order to continue providing the necessary resources these families need. We’re going to be adding additional shelving, adding additional supplies and products to our availability, and creating a donation room across the hall.

We are also going to be supporting other churches within our network who are in need.

Some questions you might have…

• How much will go to support our church? As we do every month, we will set aside 15% of every dollar given to support our community and other churches, with 85% going to support our roof project.

• When can I give? Now through the end of the year in order for this to count towards your 2023 giving statement.

• How can I give? You can give electronically by simply clicking on the button below. You can also give via the Church Center App, sending a check to the church office with “Above & Beyond” in the memo, or via stock or other investment funds being transferred to the church.
