Robin Philip - Associate Pastor & Elder
I’ve lived around the Northwest Suburb for most of my life. I accepted Christ at a youth conference during my high school years and God has been showing me who He is ever since. I graduated Northern Illinois University with a B.S. in Health Administration and have worked in the healthcare field for 8 years. I received my Masters in Biblical Exposition from Moody Theological Seminary.
In 2014, I married my beautiful wife, Sarah, and we reside in Des Plaines. In 2021, God gave us our son, Caden! I enjoy going on trips with Sarah, hanging out with family and friends, and cooking/eating Indian food.
My simplified testimony is: Jesus paid it all, all to Him I owe. I desire to live this truth out in my life.
Dan Plantz - Elder
I grew up in Chicago and have lived in the NW suburbs of Chicago for the past 35 years. In 1986, at the age of 27 I accepted Christ as my Savior in the very building that Redemption now calls home. Some of the ministries I've served in include: Awana, Children's, and Youth. I’ve also served as both a deacon and elder at various times. I had the privilege of serving the Lord as a Pastor for 13 years (children's/youth/camp). I've been married to my incredible wife, Colette, for 40 years. We have 5 children and 10 grandchildren. In my free time, I enjoy gardening, home projects, adventures with my wife and time with my family.
Tim Wiggins - Associate Pastor
I have lived in the Chicago-land area my entire life. When I was about 12 years old and living in Elmhurst my family started Pathway Community Church. There, I met Mariah—my wife—and discovered my passion for leading God's people in worship and teaching God’s Word.
Since then I have earned a Bachelors in Biblical and Theological studies from Wheaton college, a Masters in Bible and Theology from Covenant Seminary, and have been on staff at Redemption, leading both the Worship and Youth ministries since 2017.
Mariah and I live in Itasca with our dogs Bunny and Pepper. There you can find me writing, enjoying the outdoors, or doing something sports related in my free time.
