One of the images Scripture uses for the church is a family. We are a family that faithfully follows Jesus together. And as a family we “bear one another’s burdens” as we “rejoice with those who rejoice” and “weep with those who weep.” One of the ways we do this is by praying for and with one another.
As we enter the fall, we want to spend an evening praying for our church family - for our pastors, elders, and staff - for our small group leaders - for our volunteers - for our brothers and sisters - for those that are new to our church and wanting to get better connected - everyone!
On Wednesday we are going to physically gather together in our church home’s “front patio” for an evening of prayer and worship. No speakers or microphones - no cameras or internet - entirely unplugged from technology. Simply our voices lifting our praise and our prayers to God together.
DINNER BEFORE
Feel free to come early with friends or your small group, setup your blanket in the back yard, and have a picnic dinner before we worship!
SAFETY GUIDELINES
Bring your lawn chairs or a blanket (we’ll also provide folding chairs if needed) and we’ll be maintaining 10’ social distancing as we are singing. We are also requiring masks to be worn by everyone until you have taken your seat.
