Our Partners

Jack was raised in the Chicago area. Sharon was raised in the country of Peru to British missionary parents. They have three children and seven grandchildren. The Mitchells joined Avant Ministries in 2019, after twenty-eight years of global service with World Team, including twenty-two years as church planters among upper-middle professionals in Chile. Since 2019 they have been part of an Avant team serving at Seminario Bíblico Río Grande on the southernmost border of Texas and Mexico, where Jack is a professor. Jack and Sharon invest much of their time building relationships through one-on-one mentoring. Their passion is to make disciples of all nations through biblical training and preparation of global workers from anywhere in Latin America to everywhere in the world.
