Our Team

I was born and raised in Chicago with my two brothers. My mom was a believer and I grew up going to church every week. Through my summer church camp experiences, when I was 12 years old, I accepted Jesus as my Savior. I was active in my church youth group and growing in my knowledge of God. I graduated with an accounting degree and worked in public accounting and corporate accounting for over 30 years. During that time I lived in Louisville, KY, for 15 years but was not walking with the Lord.

But God… He brought me back home and got a hold of my heart and I rededicated my life to Christ. My dedication to God and my love for God was so much more real and personal. I have been attending Redemption for about 7 years and am blessed to use my professional experience to serve God and this church. I am not married but I love kids so God has made me “Auntie Janice” to many children in my life. I love to serve in Redemption Kids and I have enjoyed serving in the student program of Bible Study Fellowship for over 13 years. In my retirement, I love watching basketball (college, NBA, WNBA, etc,) gathering for a meal with friends and ice cream.
