At some point we all reach a breaking point, becoming so frustrated with the world we live in that we just want to yell at God! The pain and suffering, the evil and injustice, it becomes too much.
We want to yell at God, “How long will this continue? Why aren’t you doing anything about any of this? If you really are all-knowing, all-loving, and all-powerful, how can you allow this to continue? God, what are you doing?”
When we open God’s Word, we see a prophet named Habakkuk shout those very questions at God. God responds to his questions, calling the Habakkuk to live by faith and trust that He was working in ways that he could not always see and would not always understand.
In the same way, God is working in ways that we can’t always see and can’t always understand. In our series through the book of Habakkuk called Living by Faith, we saw how God called Habakkuk to live by faith, and how He calls us to live by faith as well.
