Returning to Asia
We have tried to enter Asia twice this past month. We were cautiously optimistic when our application to return was answered with a followup email where we were encouraged to reapply, but then, we were denied entry again. Please pray that we find an alternate way to enter our host country. We long to return to our friends and ministries God has given us there.
Initiatives in Asia
As directors of East Asia for Christar, we have been working on new initiatives. Pray as we:
Help in establishing more mobilization centers in Asia.
Continue to aid the "S" team, along with the Houston 4, to establish a berry project for church planting among the "S" people.
Help in establishing four new teams in Myanmar and Thailand.
Continue to work with our teams preparing to launch into Indonesia.
Prayer Requests
Pray for the team in Mongolia who is getting training in medical evangelism.
Pray for two families in the Philippines that are helping our teams through medical outreach. Pray that they will be encouraged and uplifted through debriefing and sharing while on home ministry this spring.
Pray for opportunities to encourage and evangelize others in the nine Bible studies we lead or attend weekly. Pray especially as Tom leads the elders of Immanuel church in devotions this month.
Pray as we serve part-time at our local county health office.
Pray for our return to East Asia. Our host country's current COVID policy ends on March 31. Pray that the country will open up and we can return home.
We continue to spend time with our family. Tom and his dad were able to make this cabinet for Amanda and Andrew's mud room. The Moffitt kids studied the Philippines in home schooling. God is so good.
