Paul’s story before Jesus (v13-14)
Paul’s honest telling of his story reveals his:
self-righteousness
brokenness
When we tell our story, we are prone to:
Glamorize our sinful past
Hide our sinful past
Deny our sinful past, revealing our own self-rightesouness
Paul’s story of encountering Jesus (v15-16a)
God is the subject of every verb, the one taking action
Setting us apart
Calling us to Him
Revealing Himself to us, both through the living Word of His Son and the written Word of Scripture
The gospel
Humbles us by the calling of the Father
Changes us by our encounter and walk with Jesus
Strengthens and sustains us by the power of the Holy Spirit
