A Misunderstanding of the Resurrection (v12)

Ramifications of Believing There Is No Resurrection of the Dead (v13-19)

1. Jesus was not resurrected from the dead (v13)

2. The gospel is a lie (v14-15)

3. You remain enslaved to sin (v16-17)

4. Death is the end (v18)

5. We are without hope (v19)

Results of the Resurrection (v20-28)

• Because he lives, all that is promised will be fulfilled (v20)

• Because he lives, all those in Christ will be resurrected (v20-23)

• Because he lives, all that is evil will be eradicated (v24-26)

• Because he lives, all that is broken will be restored (v27-28)

Reflection

• The question is not if Jesus was raised from the dead or if he will return, but: Do you believe?

• Do you believe all that is promised will be fulfilled?

• Do you believe all those in Christ will be resurrected?

• Do you believe that all evil will be eradicated?

• Do you believe all that is broken will be restored?
