The Apostle John closes his gospel saying that “Jesus did many other signs in the presence of the disciples, which are not written in this book; but these are written SO THAT YOU MAY BELIEVE that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name.” (John 20:30-31)

John wrote his gospel with a purpose: so that you may believe!

John specifically selected these seven signs, not because of the power they display, but the Savior they point us to: Jesus!

The signs were not intended to simply point us to what Jesus has done, but to who He is: the Christ, the Son of God.

The signs were not done so that you might be amazed, but that you may believe.

And that by believing you may have life in his name.

Join us this Sunday at Redemption as we begin our new series, So That You May Believe, as we look at the seven signs of Jesus in the gospel of John.
