JESUS WARNED ABOUT NOT ACTING

MATTHEW 25

Continue the conversation throughout the week with your kids by asking them questions pertaining to the lesson from Sunday at Redemption Kids.

The questions asked below were asked on Sunday during our time at Redemption Kids. Take some time to read the passage together, discuss the questions, watch a BRAND NEW video of the lesson, memorize the Bible verse, and remember the big idea of this week!

Ask the Questions

Bigs Discussion Questions

  1. What was your favorite part of today’s Bible story?

  2. What did you learn about God in today’s Bible story?

  3. What did the master say to the servants who did a good job?

  4. How is Jesus the perfect Prophet? God speaks to us through Jesus.

Elementary Discussion Questions

  1. Why was the evil servant wrong to hide the coin?

Discuss how the coin was a gift and did not truly belong to him. Explain that the master gave the servant the talent to take care of it and use it wisely, not hide it away. Encourage kids to remember that all we have is a gift from God and is to be used for His kingdom.

  2. How can you serve God as a kid?

Answers will vary. Remind kids that we can serve God at any age no matter how young or old. Tell kids that when they help their parents, share the gospel, give money to the church, or even donate their toys to kids in need, they are serving God. Remind kids that we use what God has given us to glorify Him and not ourselves. Challenge kids to serve God at home or at school this week.

  3. Why should we not put off living to honor God?

Discuss how Jesus will return one day and no one knows the day or time. Tell kids that not only should we always be prepared for His coming but followers of Jesus are marked by changed hearts that desire to serve God. Encourage kids to find ways they can live to honor God this week.
