Bigs Discussion Questions‍ ‍

  1. What was your favorite part of today’s Bible story?

  2. What did you learn about God in today’s Bible story?

  3. What did Paul say someone needs to do to have beautiful feet?

  4. Why does God command Christians to tell others about Jesus? We tell others about Jesus so they will hear and believe in Him.

Elementary Discussion Questions

  1. Why does our sin need to be forgiven?

Remind kids that sin leads to death. (Romans 6:23) Discuss how God is holy and perfect. Tell kids that God must judge sin because it goes against His holiness and perfection. Explain that sin must be forgiven so that we can be saved from death and given life.

  2. How are our sins forgiven?

Discuss how our sins are only forgiven through faith in Jesus. Remind kids that we cannot work hard enough to earn forgiveness. Explain that Jesus lived perfectly in our place and that when we trust in Him, God washes away our sin and no longer counts our sin against us.

  3. Since all people sin, why must we share the good news of Jesus?

Encourage kids to remember that every person needs to be saved from their sin. Discuss how people need to hear that they can’t be good enough to take away their sin or that they are not too bad to be saved. Remind kids that people can only believe in Jesus when they have an opportunity to hear about Him. Share how we must tell others that Jesus died for their sin, rose again, and now lives as King. Encourage kids to think about people they know who need to hear the good news of the gospel.
